A Hug Away - Short clips: Salt Lake City

This project is a tribute to life, focused on Suicide Awareness and more specifically, to the queer youth living in Utah. I also wanted to invite people to normalize talking about their mental health and seek help if necessary.  It's imperative that we defend our children’s future from our past mistakes. The future of our state is a hug away.

My goal with this project,  A Hug Away, was to invite my audience to consider the vital roles that respect and acceptance has in our queer youth lives’ and how these can shape and/or distort their identity, values, and self-worth. Being queer means to be human too, in one of the beautiful shades that humanity has in it.
